Alliance for Healthy Community Design – Steering Team Jill Kusy Jill Kusy, AICP, is the Director of
Entitlements at DMB Associates, Inc. In this capacity, she is responsible
for the coordination and
direction of the activities of the Entitlements Department. Prior to
joining DMB, Kusy provided planning and zoning entitlement services
for the law firm of Biskind, Hunt & Taylor, P.L.C. In addition,
she was the Planning Director for Maricopa County and the Town of Cave
Creek, Arizona. Her professional affiliations and community involvement
are numerous. She is presently the President-Elect of the Arizona Chapter
of the American Planning Association, and previously served as the
association’s Treasurer and North Central Director. She is also
the Vice Chair of the Maricopa County Parks Commission and is on the
Board of Directors for the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. In 1997, Kusy
served as the President of the Planning Director’s Committee
of the Arizona Association of Counties, and in 1997, co-chaired the
United Way Campaign for Maricopa County government. She has a Bachelor
of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Southern
California.
