


Project for Livable Communities Beginnings The Project for Livable Communities (PLC) is a nonprofit organization headquartered in metropolitan Phoenix. PLC members include urban design professionals, public health professionals, educators and journalists. It was founded in 2005 to foster livable communities by addressing three major community components of the environments in which we live and work:
Mission PLC assists individuals, neighborhoods, communities and organizations in building and nurturing healthy, safe, sustainable environments. Vision PLC serves as a primary resource for individuals and groups seeking assistance and information relating to creating safe, healthy, sustainable communities. Focus PLC utilizes a variety of tools to communicate, coordinate, educate, network and share information on healthy, safe, sustainable design. Goals
