Safe Design Safe design is all about building community:
The focus is on public safety in the context of the built environment and how we may work toward a safer urban landscape through planning and the use of design. A number of theoretical approaches deal with safe design, including the SafeScape Principles, Smart Growth Principles and Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED ). Please check back to this section as PLC begins providing information on these approaches and others addressing safe design. |
